New Wishes

New Year has just come, also I have a lot of things to do. I want to start to prepare for the TOEIC test as soon as possible, I think if I want to pass the exam I have to promote my listening skill and know more vocabulary, so I will buy some books to practice. I wish I can pass the exam successfully and improve my English skills. I think a new day will have a new challenge for me, so I believe I will prepare all things better than last year and finish them step by step. I am looking forward to the New Year coming and celebrate it. So I hope all the wishes can come true and the most of all is that I wish everyday can be happy day in the future!

Cute

My roomate has bought two little new pat mouse these days, they are cute as RuRu. But they still too small so that they almost sleeping. I think it is a good thing that when you feel lonely a pat can accompany with you, it is a warm and sweet feeling. I like pats but I just only have fishes in my home, actually I also want to raise some animals like dogs or cats. My grandmother has a cat, she is also cute but I think she is too fat. My grandmother always says that she is happy when she feels lonely MiMi can stay with her. I wish I also can have a pat that can stay with me, no metter where I go.

Presentation

We have to show the final preentation of our children literature class. Actually, our group had already showed the performance last week we didn't have much time to prepare and unfortunely we are the first group. But we still try our best to prepare all the props and scenario. I think it is a good experience for me to complete a whole show, although our show was a little too short, I think. I still enjoy in the performance. It is a interesting class!

Study!!

These days gas become so cold, the weather news report that this weekend the degree will be down to centigrade 6. Wow! I think I will prefer to stay at home instead of go outside. Next week is fial exam week, actually I had already start to perpare for tests. I wish I can have high grades this time because I didn't do well at midterm. So no metter the cold weather will be, I think I still have to study hard instead of sleep in the bed all the weekend.

Issue - Smoking

Recent days Taiwan will going to start force the law about forbid smoking in public areas. In my opinion, I agree with this law because I really don't like the smell when someone smoke around me. Actually I think this law should be execute earlyer, smoking is not a good habit and it will cause some virus when you smoking for a long time such as lung cancer. My father is used to smoke, too. I also hope he can stop smoking when the law execute, also I hope more and more people will quit the bad habit as soon as possible. I hope the law will force strictly, don't just for show!

Isseu - How I picture myself ten years from now

Actually I always want to be a basketball player when I was a child because I love sports. When I was in senior high school, the coach of our school basketball team had asked me whether I want to join or not because he though I played very well. At that time, I had already prepared for the test to went to colleage, so I didn't join them. Now I always thinking if I was join that time, I probably will not study here and major English, so I think the decision is so important which will effect me whole life. But now I think I am happy with my life and I still can play basketball whenever I want, so just enjoy it!!

Isseu - Panda Diplomacy

These days this news is easily to be seen on TV and people in Taiwan are all follow with interest. Actually both Taiwan and China hope the relationship between them can be better by the 'panda diplomacy', but some people don't think it is a useful way to solve the political problems. In my opinion, I also agree that cannot solve anything because I think China has more powerful weapons than Taiwan, and we don't have enough strong defense to fight. I think this 'Panda Diplomacy' maybe will not change anything about the situation. I think if we want to solve the prblems, both Taiwan and China should have more peaceful conversations to each other instead of terrorize with force.

All I want

A lot of things I want to overcome and finish but I don't know how to start. This semester will come to the end and these final two weeks will become very busy. Everyday have many things to do, I don't know whether I have the ability to finish or not but I will try my best to do. 2008 is going so fast, and I will become junior in colledge this year. I want to start my future plan as soon as possible, also I wish I can have more wonderful life in the future. I really have a lot of interest in learning languages, it is fun and I wish one day I can have professional skills to speak many languages. Too many dreams in my mind, I really wish.......DREAMS COME TURE!!!

Annoyed

I don't know how to say but I feel annoyed to be at home recently. I don't like the atmosphere and the feeling around, I really don't like it and I even don't want to go home from school every week. I think parents should keep good conversation with children, but sometimes they should leave some space to their children. I think I need the space and actually I want keep something in mind. I want to say that I really don't like my father especially when he drink a lot of wine and yell to me and my sister. I think he doesn't know how to maintain his health. I always remind him but he never keep in mind. I think every family must have some problems, but as for me, I don't know how to solve, so far I just want to leave these things away. I really don't like stay at home recently, REALLY.

Assignment

Q1
After watching this American film, I think Chinese people always think that is not a normal way to talk about lesbian and gay issues, also it is unacceptable. I think homosexual is not a open issue to show in Taiwan because most common relationship in television or movies is all about opposite sexual love. In Taiwan society, people still afraid to show their mind and speak out their opinions, I think our culture is more conserative and traditional than other countries, so we would follow the traditional ways, so that most homosexual movies or shows cannot be seen in Taiwan. But actually, I think the problem is getting better recent years, most people now can accept the homosexual as normal relationship of love, also more and more movies or dramas can be seen in Taiwan easily. I think it is a good news and I wish more and more people can speak out about their opinions if they are homosexual or not.

Q3
Actually, more and more people bravely to show their sexual aptitude in their ways. Now, it is more common to see homosexual on the street or any public places. As for me, I think it is acceptable because compare with early traditional society, these people willing to show their relationship about love is a good news, it means now most people are not afraid to speak out their thoughs and show their mind. I think we have to accept these people instead of discriminate against them. Everyone have their rights to love, so I think we should not judge them just because they are homosexual.

Happy New Year

Yesterday was so cold but still a lot of people celebrating the New Year outside. I didn't went to anywhere but just went home with my friend. I waited for her until 5:00, actually it was a little late for us to went home on that time because it cost about 3 hours from Hsinchu to Keelung. But we have holidays for 4 days, everyone want to went home as soon as possible, so we decided to went home, too. When we arrived the bus station, OH MY GOD! what a shock view appeared in front of my eyes, there were about 100 people waited for the bus to Taipei. We were speechless and don't know what to do. Finally we decided to waited for the bus to Banciao, luckily a bus to Banciao is coming, so we get in the car and arrived at about 8:00. And then we took the train home. It was a tired day, but I still watched TV for 5 hours. HaHa! Happy New Year!!
